DRAFT Oolloo Water Allocation Plan
The development of the Water Allocation Plan Oolloo Aquifer commenced in April 2008. The purpose of the Plan is to provide the Northern Territory Government and the Katherine and Daly River communities with a transparent set of rules that will assist in the sustainable management and equitable allocation of water within the Oolloo Aquifer Area.
Community input is essential to identify how this plan will affect you and assist in the development of the final WAP for the Katherine and Daly River Water Planning Areas
The Daly River Management Advisory Committee (DRMAC) is the advisory committee for the development of this Plan. They will bring the views of various stakeholder groups to the forefront during this planning process and will work with the department to ensure the community has opportunities to contribute throughout the development of the Plan.
